It’s time to throw down at the Brooklyn Grand Army Plaza! Come join us on Saturday July 8th for an afternoon filled with excitement, as we prepare to unveil the Mystery Fish from Blue Moon that was pulled from the docks in the morning. This underutilized species is sizzled to perfection and will be judged and tasted by all. Chef Trevor Swope from the Dock to Dish throws down his knives to Chef James Reedy of Craft Bar, who is a long time chef in NYC. Together the dual will entertain you and in a short time you will have learned how to cook this Mystery Fish at home for your family. So come and join the judges; Judge Neil Patel, Chef at Boutros and winner of last year’s Seafood Throwdown, Judge Erika Inward, National Coordinator of the Domestic Fair Trade Association and Special Guest Stephanie Villani of Blue Moon Fish and give your senses a treat; taste for yourself which dish you like best! While all this is happening you will be given a play by play from an emcee, so you don’t miss a trick. Lets support this local catch and learn where you can get it and how you can help us create a demand for this underappreciated species that is so plentiful but not known to most.
See you there…
