Birds, Bees, Worms, and Beavers!

To start the year, the NAMA team gathered together in mid-January to discuss the year ahead, and we came up with some big plans!

Perhaps the best way to summarize our gathering is by sharing our living mural that was started on day one and added to throughout the gathering. We built upon our existing model of birds, bees, and worms, and added beavers! Beavers play a critical role in the NAMA network ecosystem by helping attack invasive species and their roots. By the end of the gathering, a piece of every conversation we had was reflected in the mural!

Stay tuned for even more exciting updates and plans! For now, make sure to read below to find out how you can dive into The FoodPrint of Wild Seafood and keep up with what the Catch Share Reform Coalition is up to in February.
