After a hiatus, we’re back at the Common Ground Country Fair for a Seafood Throwdown. Can’t wait!

Chef Kerry Altiero of Cafe Miranda will be going head-to-head against sous chef William Zbylot of the Slipway Restaurant to see who can cook the most delicious and culinarily creative dish of locally caught seafood. What will be the mystery fish? Hmmm… come join us and find out.

Judging the contest will be Kim Libby (fishing community advocate and fishing family member from Port Clyde), Aaron Dority (Groundfish Initiative Director and Sector Manager for Penobscot East Resource Center) and Will Bleakley (writer for DownEast Magazine).

And NAMA’s own community organizer, Brett Tolley, will be the emcee.

This event is a tribute to all Maine’s rural, agricultural, and coastal traditions. If you’re around please drop in and say hello. Also you can read more about the event HERE
